Minimink

Minimink was designed by a Melbourne mum, Ally, for her baby Emery in 2003. She wanted to make products with the highest quality faux fur and with that...she's created cozy booties, hats and blankets. Now Minimink has introduced their Pram Papoose that has me wishing they made it in adult sizes so i could envelope myself for a...zzzzz.

David Fusseneger Blanket

Austrian textile company, David Fussenegger, has such a gorgeous array of products -- including their new flannel blanket with pockets. Three little pockets to stash pajamas, stuffies or miscellany is a fantastic idea. I haven't found a source selling it in the U.S. yet but I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Cozy Carrier Blanket Set

This CC3 Cozy Carrier Blanket Set looks like the snuggliest (I know, it's not really a word), warmest baby blanket and hoody to use in tandem with your baby carrier! No more fiddling with blankets and cold toes. It looks like the sweetest spot to be while mommy or daddy are taking a stroll.

ISAK Penguin Blanket

ISAK's Penguin blanket is perfect for the crazy weather that we've all been having. We could sure use another snuggly blanket around here. I love ISAK's 100% Norewegian wool blanket but I think Ms. Bean would love it even more. Did you know that wool is a natural fiber that's naturally flame retardant and is dirt repellent? Could it be any more perfect for kids?

Thilde Rag

I've been a little behind getting my post up today because I was up until the wee hours playing with my new Printer Gocco. So, I'm back this morning, trying to get the girls ready while I post about the Thilde Rag. I featured the Thilde Pocket a couple months ago and love what this company is doing. If you've had a baby, you know how much babies love to play and chew on tags more than the toy itself. The Thilde rag is a nicely done security blanket, made of soft fabric for cuddling and those fascinating tags that only babies have an affinity for.

Boo Blankets

How about these great Boo Blankets by Modern Basics? I love the over-sized animal faces! Made of fleece, they're also super cozy.

Woobee Blanket

I've been meaning to write about the Woobee all weather blanket for about a month now. It deserves a little limelight! Woobee is a Seattle-based business that was inspired by Heather Correa after the birth of her first daughter.

So, allow me to break this very practical blanket down: one side is made of a unique, velvety-soft material and the other side is made of a durable water-resistant nylon fabric that acts as a protective barrier from the elements (hello, rain!). The other detail that makes these more than just a blanket are the ties that allow you to tie it to your baby carrier, stroller, or car seat. I got to see the Woobee in action while on a trip to Portland with our friends and their newborn on a particularly rainy day. Baby M's momma tied the Woobee to her Baby Bjorn, flipped the blanket over Baby M's tiny head and kept him perfectly protected from the rain -- that was the moment I was sold! Woobee also just introduced the Super Woobee (30”x 36”) that would be ideal for picnics -- no more wet bottoms!
