Daylight savings has thrown me for a loop today. I'm staying up way too late this evening and I'm sure to pay for it ten-fold tomorrow. The upside will be the addition to more daylight which will be good for the soul.
Anyhow...Tord Boontje, the infamous Dutch designer, Morning Garden and Spring Garden lights are simply beautiful and will cast a shadowy fantasy garden in your room...what a lovely idea for a child's space.
I changed my tune since I've recently discovered a few companies creating some lovely wall decals. Apple Pie Design out of Belgium is producing a line of sophisticated, simple wall decals that integrate nicely with the decor. Pink giraffe, anyone?
These Lions & Tigers bed sheets and pillow from Pixel brought me back to my childhood. I think the Bean would completely love, love, LOVE these -- especially since she has an infinity for lions (and anything scary, for that matter). What makes them even more enticing is the fact that they're organic. Kudos to Pixel for being eco friendly and using a low impact printing process approved by the Organic Trade Association. Too bad they don't make them for a King bed.
